About the Role
You will be working closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, moderate to severe learning difficulties, and communication needs. The role focuses on building positive relationships, supporting emotional regulation, and helping pupils access learning through adapted and individualised approaches. This is a rewarding but challenging role, ideal for someone with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis within the classroom Assisting with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs Encouraging communication, independence, and social development Supporting sensory regulation and structured routines Working collaboratively with teachers and wider specialist staff Promoting a safe, calm and inclusive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:
