A specialist primary SEN school in Warrington is seeking a dedicated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This setting supports pupils with Autism, communication difficulties, sensory needs, and moderate to complex learning difficulties within small, structured classes.
The Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual EHCP targets Assist pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and engagement Implement structured strategies such as visual timetables and sensory interventions Work closely with teachers, therapists, and the SENCO Help create a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environmentYou will gain exposure to specialist approaches, multi-disciplinary collaboration, and tailored intervention work - excellent preparation for postgraduate study or careers in clinical or educational fields.
