An "Outstanding" Ofsted-rated all through SEN School in Hackney is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a term-time only agency position, providing crucial 1:1 support for students across the school This role demands a dedicated individual to foster consistent daily learning routines and an interest in working with children with additional needs is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement personalized learning strategies tailored to the individual needs of the student.
Adapt and create learning resources to ensure accessibility and engagement.
Monitor and record student progress, reporting observations to the class teacher.
Assist with lesson planning and preparation, collaborating with the teaching staff.
Provide targeted support to lower academic ability groups within the class.
Offer general classroom assistance, ensuring a productive learning environment.
Manage challenging behavior effectively, promoting positive social interaction.
Ensure the student's safety and well-being, adhering to safeguarding procedures.The school renowned for its talented staff, exceptional behaviour, and innovative teaching, offers a secure and supportive educational experience. Ideal Candidate Profile:

Reference-able experience in a similar role, ideally within a school or care setting.
A driven and enthusiastic approach to education.
Prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
In-depth knowledge of child safeguarding and protection procedures.
Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum would be avantageous
Degree educated in relevants subjects such as Early Years, Education or Psychology. Artistic degrees will also be considered.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
