Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a kind and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an 'Outstanding' Ofsted-rated school in Hackney. This is a full-time, term-time role where you will provide 1:1 support for students with extra needs.

The Role

Support: Work 1:1 with students to help them with their daily lessons.

Resources: Help create and adapt fun learning materials.

Progress: Keep track of how students are doing and report back to the teacher.

Environment: Help manage behavior and keep the classroom safe and positive.

Requirements

Education: You must have a degree (subjects like Education, Psychology, or the Arts are ideal).

Experience: You need recent experience in a school or care setting.

References: You must be able to provide satisfactory professional references that cover your previous work or training history.

Skills: Good English and communication skills are essential.

Knowledge: You must understand child safety (safeguarding) and have an interest in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
