A forward-thinking transport planning consultancy in Cambridge is looking for a Graduate Transport Planner to join their expanding team. You’ll be involved in projects that influence how communities grow, how streets function, and how sustainable travel becomes a reality.
What You’ll Be Doing
*
Assisting in the preparation of Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans
*
Analysing traffic and transport data to inform development proposals
*
Supporting junction modelling and capacity assessments
*
Contributing to technical reports and planning submissions
*
Collaborating with colleagues, developers and local authorities
You’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide variety of development projects — from early feasibility studies through to planning approval.
What They’re Looking For
*
A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related subject
*
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
*
Confident written and verbal communication skills
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
*
A proactive attitude and eagerness to develop professionally
Previous experience or familiarity with transport modelling software would be advantageous, but not essential.
