About the role As a highly experienced creative designer you will lead and deliver exceptional conceptual creative work and visual experiences that can be delivered across omni-channel customer touchpoints. In supporting the Senior Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring all conceptual, visual design and creative output is on-brand, in line with guidelines and delivers the John Lewis brand vision and standards set for creative excellence.
Through demonstrating a deep understanding of design, layout, typography, art direction, creative culture and trends, motion and industry best practice, you will ensure that creative deliverables are in line with brand and stakeholder expectations. Salary - £52,800.00 - £84,300.00
Contract type - This position is a Secondment/Fixed Term contract until the end of January 2026 (Maternity Leave cover).
Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Visual Design team aim for around 2-3 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings.

Highly skilled across key design applications in the Adobe Creative Suite
Strong experience of visual design, art direction and graphic design disciplines
Understanding of brand and creative strategy
Highly skilled in design for digital platforms and physical environments
Skilled in motion design, film and animation
Essential skills/experience you’ll need Experience in fashion, home and cultural industries
Conceptual creative thinking and design
Hands on creative design experience
Experience in directing creatives and 3rd parties
Desirable skills/experience you may have Design for social
