Graphic Designer Shropshire Permanent £27,000 - £32,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday, 9am 4pm but the client is very flexible to discuss other patternsWe are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing wholesale organisation with over 40 years of success supplying products to major UK and European retailers. Following a recent relocation to a new headquarters in Shropshire, our client is continuing to expand their product ranges and international reach.Due to this growth, they are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join their team and play a key role in developing innovative product and brand visuals.The Role:Working closely with the Product Development Manager, you will take creative concepts from initial brief through to final production. This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be responsible for designing product packaging and supporting materials, ensuring all artwork meets brand, technical, and regulatory requirements.You will be involved in both creative design and technical artwork, contributing ideas while maintaining precision and accuracy across multiple projects.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop product packaging from concept through to print-ready artworkCreate branding elements including logos and visual identitiesProduce marketing materials such as catalogues, brochures, posters, flyers, adverts, and business stationeryDesign digital assets including website graphics and social media contentGenerate mock-ups, presentations, and concept visuals for new product ideasDevelop mood boards and contribute creative ideas for new product initiatives and range updatesEnsure all packaging includes required regulatory/ mandatory information and adheres to cutter guidesPrepare artwork for print using correct specifications (CMYK, spot colours, Pantone matching)Collaborate with external partners (e.g. translation providers) to ensure designs accommodate multilingual contentManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesPresent design concepts and revisions to internal stakeholdersKey Skills & Experience:Strong understanding of colour theory, typography, and layout designExperience designing for print, particularly packaging artworkKnowledge of cutter guides, print specifications, and artwork setupProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracyAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectivelyStrong communication skills and ability to interpret design briefsA proactive and creative mindset with the ability to bring new ideas forwardAdditional Requirements:Own transport is essential due to the rural locationComfortable working in a fully office-based environmentMust be comfortable working on your own at times depending on who is working in the office throughout the weekExperience working with multilingual packaging or international markets is advantageousWhat We Offer:Opportunity to join a stable and growing businessJoining in a brand-new created role, where you can add real valueVaried and creative role with real ownership of projectsLong-term career stability within an established organisationPromoting exciting products that have huge potential and create licenceThe application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
