Job Description

We are looking for a bright and talented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Marketing team in the centre of Oxford. We are offering a varied and rewarding role for someone with a strong creative flair and a keen interest in the beauty and skincare industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the creative development and production of a wide range of print and digital design projects, while representing and championing brand guidelines and vision. Working as part of the global Dr. Hauschka company, yet with strong UK creative scope, this is an exciting role for someone with a minimum of two year’s graphic design experience.

This key role supports the marketing and sales departments with all creative assets and project including;  emails to our database; trade marketing elements (e.g. POS, in store digital screens, store window displays and ads, printed collateral); social media assets and some video content editing; limited edition seasonal packaging – that appears in retailers such as John Lewis and Whole Foods, as well as our online webshop.

Key Activities: 

· The daily management of email production from concept to sending using database platform Splio

· Complete all phases of projects related to point-of-sale and merchandising materials for retail

· Support with the creation of inspiring social media and website visuals

· Basic video editing and resizing projects for online and in-store use

· The design of product packaging for seasonal launches and promotions – e.g. Christmas and spring gift sets (sometimes using global assets, other times with UK own creative)

· The general development and execution of original design concepts that align with brand guidelines and marketing strategy to maximize recognition in the market

· Edit imagery and produce campaigns using assets provided by our international head office, as well as UK original assets

· Close liaison with local printing and production company as required

· Support for content shoots as needed

· Monthly reporting on all creative and email projects, as key member of the marketing team


Education/Experience:

· A keen interest and knowledge of the beauty industry is essential

· 2 years’ experience in a graphic and web design role

· BA or equivalent in graphic design or related field preferred

· High level of proficiency in the latest design software packages such as Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Acrobat and Microsoft Office

· High level of proficiency in Splio (or other similar database management systems) and email design

· Experience in design for retail branding preferred

· Understand tone of voice and how to translate messages to consumer friendly visuals

· Be able to adhere to and champion brand guidelines

· Ability in problem-solving; solutions-oriented approach to design

· Excellent organisational skills - able to prioritise and organise a fast-paced workflow

· Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

· Strong communication skills – you may be required to communicate with the global design department

· Strong understanding of the social media landscape

· Ability to coordinate multiple, simultaneous projects from start to finish

· Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

· Strong eye for detail


Specifics:

-       Office-based role with two days remote working on Monday & Fridays

-       We are open to a full-time candidate, or three days per week (Tues/Wed/Thurs in Oxford)
