This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and reputable housing association, working within a friendly and professional team maintaining high-quality outdoor spaces across Market Harborough and surrounding areas.The RoleAs part of the Grounds Maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping communal and landscaped areas looking their best. Your day-to-day duties will include: Grass cutting (tractor and pedestrian) Strimming and brush cutting Hedge trimming and shrub pruning Planting, weeding, and weed control General estate upkeep including litter pickingThis is a mobile role, so no two days will be the same.What We're Looking ForWe're seeking someone who is: A hardworking team player with a positive, can-do attitude Passionate about outdoor work and maintaining high standards Friendly and approachable with good communication skills Experienced in grounds maintenance and use of relevant machinery Health & Safety consciousEssential: Full UK driving licence Ability to commute to Market HarboroughDesirable: Horticultural/gardening experience or qualifications PA1 & PA6 spraying certificatesWhat's On Offer £28,512 annual salary Permanent, year-round employment 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Option to buy up to 5 additional days leave Generous pension scheme (up to 12% employer contribution) Free healthcare and dental plan All-weather uniform providedWorking Pattern Summer (March-November): 42.5 hours, Monday-Friday Winter (December-February): 32.5 hours, Monday-ThursdayThis is more than just a job-it's a chance to build a long-term career with a growing organisation that truly values its people.Interested?
