Groundworks Site Manager – Thetford

Location: Thetford Start Date: Immediate Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to join a well-established contractor on a busy project in Thetford. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in groundworks and civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all groundworks operations on site

*

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel

*

Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

*

Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance

*

Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress meetings

*

Liaise with clients, engineers, and senior management

*

Manage site documentation and reporting

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks or civil engineering

*

Valid SMSTS certification

*

CSCS card (Black/Gold preferred)

*

First Aid at Work qualification

*

Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills

*

Ability to lead teams and drive productivity
