Groundworker - Road Formation (Essential)

?? £20 per hour (CIS)

Barker Ross is currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a project in Greenhithe (DA9), starting Monday, 13th March.

This role is specifically focused on road formation, so applicants must have solid, hands-on experience in this area.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out all aspects of road formation and groundwork
  • Preparing subgrades and laying/compacting sub-bases (Type 1, stone layers)
  • Ensuring correct levels, falls, and alignment for road construction
  • Installing associated drainage
  • Kerbing and edging works
  • Using relevant tools and small plant safely and effectively

Requirements:
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Proven experience in road formation (essential)
  • Ability to work from drawings and follow site specifications
  • Own PPE
  • Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented
