Groundworks Foreman – Reading – Immediate Start

We are currently seeking an experienced Working Groundworks Foreman for a project based in Reading. This role will involve overseeing drainage and pipe laying works while working hands-on with the team on site.

The Role
You will be responsible for supervising groundworkers and plant while ensuring drainage and pipe laying works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with drawings and programme.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising a team of groundworkers on site

*

Overseeing drainage and pipe laying works

*

Working from drawings and organising daily tasks

*

Ensuring works are carried out safely and to a high standard

*

Liaising with the Site Manager and reporting on progress

*

Assisting the team on site where required (working foreman role)

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman

*

Strong experience with drainage and pipe laying

*

Ability to read and work from drawings

*

Good leadership and communication skills

*

Valid CSCS card (SSSTS preferred)
