Earthworks Supervisor required to work with a leading groundworks contractor on a project based in Braintree, Essex. This is an 8-week contract starting next week, overseeing earthworks operations and ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with programme. This position requires an experienced Supervisor with a strong background in earthworks who can coordinate plant, labour, and subcontractors while maintaining high health & safety standards on site. Key Responsibilities: * Supervising day-to-day earthworks operations on site * Coordinating plant, labour, and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently * Monitoring progress against programme and reporting updates to the site team * Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and project requirements * Maintaining strong health & safety standards across the site * Liaising with site management and other members of the project team to ensure smooth delivery of works * Attending site meetings and providing updates on progress and any issues affecting delivery Qualifications & Experience: * Proven experience working as an Earthworks or Groundworks Supervisor * Strong understanding of earthworks operations and site coordination * Valid CSCS card required * SSSTS or SMSTS preferred * Strong communication skills and ability to manage subcontractors and site teams If you are well suited to this role, please apply through the link and we will contact you for a confidential discussion
