Groundworks Foreman – RC New Build Project (NW London)
Location: North West London
Project Type: Reinforced Concrete (RC) New Build
£320 to £340/day
Our client, a leading Specialist RC and civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Groundworks Foreman to join the project team on a major new build project in North West London (valued at c. £20m). This is a key supervisory role, responsible for overseeing groundworks operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate groundworkers on site
• Oversee activities including:
• Shoring operations
• Excavator work
• Muck-away
• Breaking piles
• Concreting

• Lead daily morning briefings, including:
• Method statements
• Risk assessments
• Toolbox talks

• Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations
• Monitor productivity and maintain quality standards on site
• Liaise with site management and other trades as required

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman on RC or similar projects
• Strong knowledge of groundworks operations and site coordination
• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage teams and maintain a safe working environment
