Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join their company who are one of the leading Groundworks and RC frame contractors in London.The company is based in East London and has worked on residential and commercial projects covering all areas in London with values up to £10m.Duties & responsibilitiesEnsure the efficient operation of all systems in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS)Consult with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effect cost reductions, and resolve issues.Analyse enquiry contents, extracting commercial requirements and advising all interested/participating departments of the requirementsInterpret the 'Scope of Work' and where necessary, formulate and place Sub-Contract Enquiries and appraise subsequent responsesAttend Pre-Tender Meetings and site visits. Establishing working conditions and ensuring completion of the necessary Site ReportsPerform 'Quantity Take-Offs' of materials and labour operations from G.A. Drawings, Schedules and Specifications.
