Job Description

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Site Manager on behalf of a long-standing regional groundworks & civil engineering contractor to manage project in the Bradford area.\n\nThe initial project will run for 18 months and includes 110 new plotworks to DPC as well as associated groundworks. The contractor are well known for their growth in recent years and are currently operating with a turnover of nearly £100m across NE & Yorkshire. Comfortable management systems in place & a structured organisation with large management team - meaning your job as Site Manager is made as smooth as possible.\n\nFuture packages will cover roads & sewers, plotworks & groundworks packages to new-build residential sites mainly with some commercial.

Package values are up to £10m. Based out of a central office in West Yorkshire with ongoing works currently in Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield and surrounding areas.\n\nDuties:\n\n * Daily running of site - as PC for site setup then as sub-contractor to housing developer.\n\n * Ordering materials & managing supply chain.\n\n * Writing RAMS & site documentation.\n\n * Daily site diaries.\n\n * Planning work - 2,3 and 4 week look-aheads.\n\n * Monitoring progress against KPI's to achieve site deadlines.\n\n * Liaison with local authorities and developers.\n\nExperience Required:\n\n * Must have proven experience working as Site Manager on groundworks and plotworks to DPC projects.\n\n * Must be fully capable of running packages with values £4m+.\n\n * Must have full knowledge and ability with NHBC and highways specifications.\n\n * Must have: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.\n\nRemuneration:\n\nOn offer is a salary of up to £56,000.\n\nPlus generous package (car / allowance, fuel, pension, discretionary bonus, annual leave, discounts & perks scheme and more).\n\nFor more info contact Andy Gray at Elvet Recruitment
