Job Title: Groundworks Site Manager\nLocation: Birmingham\nJob Type: Freelance\n\nAbout the Role:\nWe are seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to oversee general groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) frame packages on projects across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for site delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Managing day-to-day site operations for groundworks and RC frame packages\n\n * \n\n Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials\n\n * \n\n Ensuring works are delivered to programme and budget\n\n * \n\n Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site compliance\n\n * \n\n Liaising with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors\n\n * \n\n Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings\n\n * \n\n Monitoring quality control and ensuring works meet specifications\n\n * \n\n Reporting progress and resolving on-site issues efficiently\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Site Manager within groundworks and RC frames\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of foundations, drainage, formwork, and concrete structures\n\n * \n\n SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certificates\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors\n\n * \n\n Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills\n\n * \n\n Right to work in the UK\n\nHow to Apply:\nPlease submit your CV via CV Library or contact us directly for a confidential discussion
