Group Accountant

We are seeking a promising Group Accountant to join a dynamic and growing Worcestershire family business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in group financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance, with a keen eye for detail and process improvement. Key Responsibilities: This role covers full financial management and reporting across the group, including: * Daily cashflow and bank monitoring, postings in Sage 50 and specific (ERP), * Management accounts, P&L and balance sheets * Payroll, VAT, and intercompany reconciliations. * Advising directors on financial strategy and ensuring accuracy in audit and compliance processes. * Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting. * Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across subsidiaries. * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors. * Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and systems. Requirements: * Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent). * Proven experience in an accounting role. * Strong knowledge of accounting standards and consolidation processes. * Excellent Excel and ERP system skills. * Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills. * Knowledge of Microsoft Query and Sage 50 Why Join: * Opportunity to work in a growing and collaborative environment. * Exposure to multi-entity, international accounting. * Career development and professional growth opportunities
