ABOUT THE ROLE As a Group and Events Planner, you will play a central role in coordinating our social and corporate clients' experience with us. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, a skilled multitasker and a confident communicator. As Group and Events Planner, key aspects of your role will include (but are not limited to): Reactively receives, handles and coordinates all group and event inquiries. Prepares and maintains group and event documentation, such as banquet event orders, rooming lists, room blocks, inventory and group resumes, ensuring everything is kept accurate and up-to-date. Identifies operational challenges associated with the group/event booking, and works with operational departments and the main client to solve challenges or develop alternative solutions. Coordinates, communicates and confirms event details and group requirements both verbally and in writing to the client and property operations. Participates in property site inspections. Conducts pre and post event meetings to review client needs and feedback. Ensures billing accuracy.
