This is an exciting opportunity for a Group Financial Accountant to join a leading organisation within the Energy & Natural Resources sector. The role focuses on managing financial reporting, compliance, and group consolidation. Client Details This position is with a fast-growing PE-backed business in the sustainable energy space. Description
Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statements. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards. Support the audit process and liaise with external auditors. Analyse financial data and provide insights for decision‑making. Review and improve financial processes and controls. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Collaborate with internal departments to address financial queries. Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.
Profile A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:
Professional accounting qualification (ACA trained) Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in consolidation and compliance. Experience within the Energy sector is advantageous. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills. Ability to work effectively in a large organisation. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Job Offer
