Interim Group Financial Accountant - Grimsby - £60,000 - £80,000

We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Accountant to join one of our key clients to support their financial reporting team on a 6-month interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in financial reporting across both the German division and the wider European organisation based in the UK. Reporting into the Group Finance function, you will support both internal and external reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information.

Prepare statutory reporting information for the German Group Support and/or lead German statutory audit processes Assist with financial reporting across the wider European Group Produce monthly management accounts for central functions, including recharges, prepayments, and accruals Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations Support the tax team with VAT return preparation and submissions Assist with tax authority information requests Provide financial insight and support to accounting and reporting teams Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects and financial analysis as requiredAbout You

Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience Strong financial accounting background, ideally with knowledge of Germany or other European accounting standards IT literate including Excel and ERP Systems Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Confident communicator, able to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders A collaborative team player with a proactive approachIf you are interested in this great Interim Group Financial Accountant role, please apply now.
