Job Overview A US listed business is recruiting a Group Financial Controller. This role is reporting directly to the CFO in a successful international business with a proven track record of performance and profitability. The successful candidate will play a major part in driving future expansion plans and building a first‑class finance function alongside the CFO. As the Group Financial Controller, you will lead the financial accounting and management reporting teams. You will work closely with senior colleagues to drive performance, provide clear and effective reporting, and maintain strong financial controls. This high‑profile role carries overall responsibility for accurate management accounting, financial reporting, audit, accounts payable, and cash management. You will be expected to introduce a new suite of management information reporting, improve systems, and manage cash flow. The position will also involve new investment capex projects and budgeting/forecasting for the business, and will have significant exposure and interaction with senior board stakeholders. You will manage a sizeable team of over 50 people.
Responsibilities Lead the financial accounting and management reporting teams, ensuring accurate and robust financial statements under US GAAP within a US listed company. Drive performance through effective reporting and strong financial controls. Introduce new management information reporting and system improvements. Manage cash flow and oversee accounts payable and cash management teams. Support investment capex projects, budgeting, and forecasting. Interact regularly with senior board stakeholders. Lead and develop a large finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture. Qualifications The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, ACA qualified with an audit background. You must have strong reporting experience under US GAAP within a US listed company and be able to lead a finance team in a fast‑paced, growing business. Prior sector experience is considered but a robust understanding of US GAAP and audit is essential. Compensation & Benefits This role offers a superb six‑figure basic salary plus significant bonus, stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package.
