Group Financial Controller

We are recruiting a Group Financial Controller for a successful, growing business operating as an independent unit within a larger global parent. This is a visible senior finance role offering responsibility for group control, reporting and team leadership within a well-backed and expanding environment.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the Group Financial Controller will take ownership of consolidated reporting, month-end and year-end close, statutory compliance, audit management and balance sheet control, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and insightful financial information.

The role will also support the annual budget and periodic forecast process, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure reporting remains aligned to business performance and wider group requirements.

In addition, the successful candidate will lead and develop a small team of qualified and part-qualified finance professionals, driving high standards, accountability and continuous improvement across core financial processes.

We are seeking a qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with strong financial control, reporting and team leadership experience, ideally gained within a multi-entity, group or growing business environment. The successful candidate will bring strong technical capability, a hands-on approach and the confidence to support senior leadership with clear and reliable financial insight.
