Principal Consultant at Tate Recruitment specialising in Finance and Financial Services Group Management Accountant Oxford (Hybrid/Flexible Working) Salary £45k to £55k plus excellent benefits I’m supporting a rapidly expanding business with multiple offices across Central and Southern England in their search for a Group Management Accountant. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Oxford with hybrid and flexible working. You’ll work closely with the Group Financial Controller and gain exposure to acquisitions and private-equity reporting. Some travel to regional offices will be required. Role Overview
Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping with monthly management accounts and reporting to meet the required deadlines. Help manage the day-to-day bookkeeping. Visit offices within different geographical regions to ensure KPI’s are being achieved and assist with their management accounts where necessary. Prepare and process payments for authorization. Management of bank accounts including reconciliations. Carry out quarterly VAT returns for review. Assist with year-end audit procedures. Responsibility for supporting the full range of finance department activities, including accounts payable and credit control. Support the Group Financial Controller with any ad hoc tasks as required.
About you as Group Management Accountant
3+ years’ UK experience in practice or industry ACCA/ACA part-qualified or fully qualified Strong experience producing management accounts in a multi-entity environment Confident with month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Advanced Excel and strong systems knowledge High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills Organised, analytical, proactive, and comfortable with deadlines A strong team player with a continuous improvement mindset
