The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who is looking to build a long-term career in procurement within a large, complex FMCG organisation.
Reporting into Group Procurement, you will provide day-to-day support across the wider Group, working closely with senior stakeholders and gaining exposure to buying activity across smaller and developing categories.
Your Responsibilities:
Providing general procurement support including email management, reporting, coordination and follow-ups
Managing diaries and supporting the day-to-day organisation of senior procurement leaders
Reviewing and triaging emails, identifying actions, and ensuring queries are directed appropriately
Coordinating with Heads of Procurement and wider teams to ensure actions are completed
Supporting administrative tasks across the Group Procurement function
Assisting with the identification and exploration of new or developing procurement categories
Taking ownership of smaller, non-critical buying categories (e.g. stationery and indirect supplies) as part of your development
Gradually being trained and developed into buyer responsibilities over time
About You:
Experienced in administration, coordination, or assistant roles (procurement experience is desirable but not essential)
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Comfortable working autonomously and able to "get going" quickly
Confident and articulate in written communication, particularly emails
Able to coordinate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
Keen to learn, develop, and progress into a Buyer role
