The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who is looking to build a long-term career in procurement within a large, complex FMCG organisation.
Reporting into Group Procurement, you will provide day-to-day support across the wider Group, working closely with senior stakeholders and gaining exposure to buying activity across smaller and developing categories.
Your Responsibilities:
- Providing general procurement support including email management, reporting, coordination and follow-ups
- Managing diaries and supporting the day-to-day organisation of senior procurement leaders
- Reviewing and triaging emails, identifying actions, and ensuring queries are directed appropriately
- Coordinating with Heads of Procurement and wider teams to ensure actions are completed
- Supporting administrative tasks across the Group Procurement function
- Assisting with the identification and exploration of new or developing procurement categories
- Taking ownership of smaller, non-critical buying categories (e.g. stationery and indirect supplies) as part of your development
- Gradually being trained and developed into buyer responsibilities over time
About You:
- Experienced in administration, coordination, or assistant roles (procurement experience is desirable but not essential)
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Comfortable working autonomously and able to \"get going\" quickly
- Confident and articulate in written communication, particularly emails
- Able to coordinate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Keen to learn, develop, and progress into a Buyer role
