As the business continues to grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Group Technical & Statutory Accountant to join their London-based team. Reporting to the Group Technical & Statutory Reporting Manager, this is pivotal in maintaining IFRS compliance, supporting the group audit, and preparing statutory accounts for UK entities. You'll also contribute to technical accounting projects, support acquisitions, and play a key part in enhancing internal financial processes globally. This position offers high visibility across group functions (Legal, Tax, Treasury, M&A) and strong opportunities for long-term progression in a dynamic, fast-evolving finance team. Key Responsibilities Support the group audit process and prepare consolidated IFRS accounts across c40 countries. Prepare UK entity statutory accounts (FRS 101/102). Own the annual IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss model for group audit. Liaise with external auditors, manage queries, and ensure timely delivery of audit requirements.
