Department information: The focus of this division is on Group Travel Programs, Corporate & Incentive Travel and Travel Experiences & Logistics. Providing itineraries consisting of hotels along with ground services experiences.

 

Role Summary: Responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out with extremely high attention to detail and that levels of service offered from initial quote stage to final confirmations and beyond, are second to none.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

 

- Deal with initial enquiries from clients in a timely manner by offering regular updates and same day acknowledgements

- Manage client relationships as the client's main point of contact, delivering proactive support, communicating new product updates, and resolving issues across the entire booking and travel journey.

- Work to deadlines on creating detailed and bespoke itineraries that exactly match the client’s needs, budget and expectations

- Maximise revenue by aiming to convert all enquiries, proactively following up after initial offers, and identifying opportunities to re-quote where appropriate

- Recognising and maximising on all opportunities to upsell

Negotiate competitive rates with suppliers where no contracts are in place and re-negotiate ad hoc rates with contracted suppliers as business needs dictate.

-  Liaise with suppliers to check availability and ultimately book and confirm all aspects of travel

-  Ensure all bookings are accurately entered into the operating system (Tourplan) and that records are maintained and always updated
