Job Title: Gym Supervisor

Location: Huntingdon Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only / Part time 22.5 hours Salary: £13,500 – £15,000 pro-rata

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a motivated Gym Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operation of their gym, support fitness, and promote sport and wellbeing across the local community. You will supervise the gym, lead fitness activities, maintain health and safety standards, and ensure all users enjoy a safe and welcoming environment.

This is a term-time role with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Gym Supervisor - Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise gym users, enforce rules, and provide inductions.

* Lead exercise classes and support sports activities for students, staff, and the community.

* Set up, dismantle, and maintain gym and sporting equipment safely.

* Maintain health and safety, including daily checks and reporting maintenance needs.

* Promote sport and fitness through events, promotions, and communications.

* Support safeguarding and equality.

* Administer payments and liaise with user groups to meet their needs.

About You

Essential:

* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in relevant field.

* First Aid certificate (up-to-date).

* Experience in a health and fitness environment, including supervising and running exercise classes.

* Competent with Microsoft Office and cash handling.
