Job Title: HAAS CNC Programmer/Operator

Department: Machining

Working Hours: 7.30am - 16.30pm (Mon to Thurs) and 7.30am - 12.30pm Friday

We are in search of a talentedCNC Programmer/Operatorto strengthen our dedicated team. Candidates with experience in any of the following control systems Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, Haas, or Seimens are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

  • Working within a predominantly medium to high batch machining cell
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
  • Expertly program, set-up, and operate CNC machines using one or more of the specified control systems.
  • Choose and prepare the right tools and materials for each machining job.
  • Vigilantly monitor the CNC machines to guarantee consistent quality in production runs.
  • Conduct regular maintenance routines on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams, aiming for continuous process improvement.
  • Adhere to the highest safety standards and protocols.
  • Diagnose and resolve any challenges encountered during the production process.
  • Stay updated on advancements in machining techniques and control systems to uphold our industry-leading standards.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

  • Ability to program one of the following Haas, Heidenhain, Mazak, Fanuc or Siemens
  • 5+ Years experience working within CNC Programming
  • Highest standards of H&S and Quality is essential
  • Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts
  • Working with various materials including exotic grade alloys
  • A detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding & cutting strategy is essential
  • A good communicator at all levels, with the ability to integrate and support a successful team
