We are seeking a dependable and multiskilled Handyperson / Caretaker for a full-time, static role at a respected educational centre in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and fully functioning environment.

Role Overview The successful candidate will support daily site operations including maintenance, repairs, event setup, and general caretaking duties. A flexible, proactive attitude and the ability to manage a variety of tasks independently is essential.

Hours: 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week including 1-hour lunch break) Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities Carry out basic maintenance and repairs Monitor CCTV and manage access to the premises Conduct compliance checks: fire alarms, emergency lighting, water temperatures Set up and take down equipment for events and activities Order materials, supplies, and equipment Prioritise and manage a range of ongoing site tasks

Experience and Skills Minimum 1 year in a similar caretaker, handyperson or multi-trader role

Basic knowledge in: Plumbing (e.g. installing taps, fixing leaks) Electrical (e.g. replacing bulbs, rewiring sockets) Decorating (e.g. painting, sanding, touching up woodwork) Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Good communication skills and a professional attitude
