Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm
Additional: Weekend availability required for emergency call-outs only
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Handyman to support our property management operations on a full-time, on-call basis. You will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, inspections, and repair works across a portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties located primarily in and around North London.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general property maintenance and repairs (e.g. plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, minor painting & decorating)
Conduct routine property inspections and report findings
Diagnose maintenance issues and implement effective solutions
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Ensure all works are completed to a high standard
Maintain tools, equipment, and the company vehicle in good condition
Liaise with tenants, contractors, and management in a professional manner
Requirements:
Proven experience in general property maintenance or handyman role
Strong ability to diagnose maintenance issues across multiple trades
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
Must be available to start work immediately or at short notice
Must have the legal right to work in the UK
Must live within easy reach of North London
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Must be trustworthy, punctual, and professional
Enhanced DBS/CRB check required (or willingness to obtain)
