Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at a care home in Ilford. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, prepare, and serve meals that meet the nutritional standards and preferences of residents. - Lead and manage kitchen staff, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment. - Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety compliance. - Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and stock control. - Work closely with care staff to accommodate special dietary requirements and preferences. - Develop and update menus to provide variety and balance while considering cost control. - Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:
