We are seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead a vibrant contract catering operation based in the heart of the city. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a dynamic staff dining and hospitality service, supported by a small but highly talented brigade.
The Role As Head Chef, you will take full ownership of a high-quality food operation delivering:
Creative and inspiring staff dining
Premium hospitality and fine dining experiences
Trend-led street food concepts
Seasonal, fresh, and innovative menus
This is a Monday to Friday role offering an excellent work-life balance, without compromising on creativity or standards.
What We're Looking For We are looking for a Head Chef who combines exceptional craft skills with strong commercial awareness.
You will:
Demonstrate outstanding fine dining ability and presentation skills
Have a genuine passion for modern street food and emerging food trends
Lead, inspire and develop a small but ambitious brigade
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Manage food costs, GP, budgets and financial performance confidently
Ensure compliance, food safety, and operational excellence
About You Currently operating at Head Chef level within contract catering (or ready for the step up)
Highly organised with strong leadership qualities
Commercially astute and comfortable managing costings and KPIs
A natural relationship-builder who thrives in a client-facing environment
Driven, creative and ready for a fresh challenge
