Head Chef relaunch of a fabulous fresh food pub - £50,000 + tronc & bonus Following a small refurbishment this country pub is relaunching with a new identity. There will be an emphasis on fresh, seasonal cuisine utilising all the wonderful local suppliers. To ensure the success of this British pub they are looking for a talented Head Chef to take over the day to day running of the kitchen. This is good honest food using top quality produce that speaks for itself. The food offer is British, focusing on seasonality, locality, and provenance, alongside classic flavours and well-executed modern pub dishes. Menus will be changed monthly, and there will be a weekly changing specials boards that showcase the best produce from our trusted suppliers. The successful Head Chef will have a high level of autonomy in the kitchen, while working closely with the senior team to design, develop, and finalise menus, ensuring consistency, strong margins, and a clear food identity. Alongside the cooking the Head Chef will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing the brigade, organise rotas, ordering, stock control, GPs and wastage, all health, hygiene and safety procedures and working closely with the front of house team.
