This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the kitchen at a well-established quality gastro pub in Thame , part of a respected and growing hospitality group known for being a brilliant place to work.
With weekly sales of around £50,000 , this is a busy and well-loved venue where standards, creativity, and strong leadership are key. Youll be leading a team of 10 chefs , driving consistency, mentoring the team, and delivering exceptional food that keeps guests coming back.

Key Responsibilities Lead, inspire, and develop a kitchen team of 10

Deliver consistently high-quality fresh food in a busy gastro pub environment

Manage kitchen operations including ordering, stock control, and GP targets

Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards

Work closely with the General Manager to drive the food offer and guest experience

Ensure efficient service during high-volume periods

Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up

Background in a branded hospitality operation , ideally within a fresh food environment

Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams

Passion for quality ingredients and delivering great food consistently

Commercially aware with good understanding of cost control and kitchen management

Ability to thrive in a high-volume kitchen

Salary & Benefits Salary up to £55,000
