Were on the lookout for a talented Head Chef to lead the team at The Lamb In Shipton under wychwood. We are expanding and need someone who shares our commitment to exceptional service, top-quality food, and a great atmosphere. We focus on a straightforward, well sourced, wine, beer & spirit selection, Good, classic, nose to tail, British pub style food, plenty of game & offal and very little mucking around.. Not a micro herb in sight and definitely no tweezers. We have built an excellent reputation in The Cotswolds, with a passion for freshly prepared , often locally sourced food. We change dishes on the menu each month with weekly specials every weekend. Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team. Fluent in English both verbally and written. Responsibilities for Head Chef Day to day running of the kitchen and the team Management of the BOH Rota Maintaining food standards Ensuring compliance is all completed and maintained (we work with risk proof) Monthly menu changes to continue and further the output of the kitchen. Work well with FOH and communicate with them at all times, especially during a busy service.
