About The Role
We are looking for an exceptional Head Concierge to lead a small, highly focused Lobby Host team at The Derby London City. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role, ideal for a concierge who thrives in a boutique environment where personal presence, discretion, and attention to detail truly matter. As the hotels sole concierge and a proud Les Clefs dOr holder, you will personally curate bespoke guest experiences while leading a close-knit team of Lobby Hosts who support arrivals, departures, and luggage services. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the concierge function and set the standard for personalised service from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a small Lobby Host team, seamless arrivals and departures, overseeing luggage handling and guest movement.
Act as the hotels sole concierge, personally handling guest requests and bespoke arrangements.
Maintain a strong and visible presence in the lobby, proactively engaging with guests throughout their stay.
Personally manage VIP, repeat, and long-stay guest arrangements, delivering tailored and memorable experiences.
Curate expert local knowledge, trusted partnerships, and recommendations aligned with the hotels positioning.
Work closely with Front Office to support a seamless guest journey.
Ensure Health & Safety, security, and guest privacy procedures are consistently followed.
Represent the hotel within the Les Clefs dOr network and the wider concierge community.

About You
Proven experience as a Concierge or Head Concierge within a luxury or lifestyle hotel.
Holder of Les Clefs dOr.
Comfortable working in a boutique setting as the sole concierge, with full ownership of the function.
Passionate about personalised, detail-driven guest service.
Professional, polished, and discreet at all times.
Confident leading and developing team members.
Flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment.
