We are seeking an experienced and caring head cook to provide nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The role includes menu planning, meal preparation, catering for special dietary needs, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness. Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £27,213 per year Annual Leave: 25 days per year plus 8 Bank Holidays
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) Level 2 Diploma in Food Production and Cooking or equivalent City & Guilds 706/1 and/or 706/2 (or equivalent) Knowledge of the nutritional needs of young children Experience working in a busy kitchen environment (nursery or school desirable) Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
