Key Responsibilities

  • Management and Leadership (30%): Leading and developing a high‑performing team to deliver exceptional customer service whilst driving a positive team culture.
  • Stakeholder Management (10%): Work effectively with all key internal Global teams such as partnerships, podcasts, video, outdoor and many more to ensure a joined‑up approach.
  • External presence (50%): Understand the key challenges our customers face and ensure that your team are helping to provide solutions whilst developing influential relationships with senior stakeholders across your patch with a specific focus on the planning and digital community to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Forecasting accuracy (10%): Work closely with the audio trading team to ensure accurate forecasting and knowledge of the deal where appropriate.

What Success Looks Like

  • Build a new agency‑facing team with clear roles and responsibilities.
  • Work with the CAD and your peers to agree key measures of success for the business units for the financial year.
  • Support all individuals and ensure a supportive and open team culture.
  • Work closely with the respective head of agency in outdoor and partnerships to ensure levels of co‑operation and communication are optimum.
  • Support the CAD in building team processes (i.e. key internal meetings, management of revenue targets and development of culture).
  • Set out and fulfil a contact plan of key agency stakeholders.
  • Help to motivate the teams in a difficult economy and support the commercial directors in key department initiatives to build a positive Global culture.
  • Work with the leadership team across your group to identify revenue growth opportunities and establish clear roles and responsibilities.

What You’ll Need

  • Leadership skills: The ability to manage and lead high‑performing sales individuals.
  • Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of Radio and Digital media planning and buying.
  • Market knowledge: A strong understanding of agencies and senior relationships in agency planning teams and the digital landscape.
  • Digital expertise: A strong understanding of the digital landscape.
  • Client management: Proven track record in nurturing client relationships.
  • Internal stakeholder management: The ability to pull together different teams within Global to achieve your goals.
  • Flexibility & positivity: A can‑do attitude to manage different projects and deliver top results.
