Job Description

PMR is supporting a London-based investor in the appointment of a Head of Asset Management to oversee a growing residential portfolio. This is a senior, commercially focused leadership position responsible for driving asset performance, income growth and long term value.

The portfolio currently comprises three operational assets, with a fourth asset mobilising at the end of 2027. The successful individual will oversee managing agents across the portfolio, ensuring strong operational delivery while implementing and leading the overarching asset management strategy.

This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on commercial input, particularly around leasing performance and income optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver the asset management strategy across the portfolio, aligning business plans with long-term investment objectives. Drive income performance, leasing strategy and commercial optimisation across all assets. Oversee and performance-manage external managing agents, holding them accountable for delivery against agreed KPIs. Develop and implement asset-level business plans and value-enhancement initiatives. Monitor financial performance, budgets and reporting metrics. Support the mobilisation of the fourth asset ahead of completion in 2027. Provide regular performance reporting to senior stakeholders and investors. Work collaboratively with internal legal, finance and operational teams.

Candidate Profile

Proven experience within asset management across residential, BTR or mixed-use portfolios. Strong commercial acumen with direct leasing exposure and experience driving occupancy and rental growth. Experience managing and challenging third-party managing agents. Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both board and asset level. Strong financial and analytical capability. Confident communicator and stakeholder manager. Comfortable in an office-based role
