This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial and commercially minded surveyor to spearhead a new department, shape service offerings, and build a team from the ground up. The role offers genuine autonomy, leadership responsibility, and the chance to influence the strategic direction of the companys growth. Key Responsibilities Establishing and leading the Building Surveying department
Developing and expanding service lines within the business
Winning new work and strengthening existing client relationships
Delivering a full range of building surveying services, including: Contract administration
Dilapidations
Planned preventative maintenance
Technical due diligence
Condition surveys
Project management
Overseeing project delivery across public and private sector clients
Recruiting, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team
Contributing to business development strategy and revenue growth
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practice
Requirements MRICS qualified (essential)
Strong background in Building Surveying within a consultancy environment
Proven experience delivering projects independently
Commercial awareness and business development capability
Leadership xehkeey qualities with the ambition to grow and manage a team
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to shape and grow a service offering
