You'll lead the development and implementation of our capability growth plan, collaborating with construction teams to win and successfully deliver multi-disciplinary projects while ensuring safety by design and client satisfaction.What will you be responsible for?As a Head of Capability, you'll be working within the Kier Design team, supporting them in providing CDM and BSA leadership across all design contracts within Kier Design, leading the development and implementation of our capability growth plan, collaborating with construction teams to win and successfully deliver multi-disciplinary projects while ensuring safety by design and client satisfaction.Your day to day will include:Managing the delivery of the Principal Designer role as required by CDM regulations and the Building Safety ActLeading on the preparation of fee proposals and taking bids successfully through governanceCoordinating with in-house design capability leaders to ensure effective resourcing of projectsProviding technical leadership and support to design teams in ensuring designs are safe to build and maintainPromoting an inclusive workplace where diversity of thought and experience is actively encouragedWhat are we looking for?This role of Head of Capability is great for you if:You have a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with demonstrable industry experience at a similar level to this role and hold membership to a relevant professional body (ICE, CIHT)You have experience in CDM regulations and Building Safety Act implementationYou're trusted to deliver what you promise, acting safely and ethicallyRewards and benefitsWe’re proud to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
