Are you someone who can turn complex data into clear commercial action?Do you thrive on shaping strategy across both Retail and B2B channels?Ready to influence senior stakeholders and drive measurable growth at scale?MB are partnering with a market-leading FMCG business in the drinks space, looking for a Head of Category Strategy & Insights to drive growth across both Retail and Out-of-Home (OOH) channels.This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role sitting at the intersection of commercial, insights, and category strategy—with real influence over business direction and performance.You will own the development and execution of insight-led category strategies, translating consumer, shopper, and market data into actionable decisions that accelerate growth.Acting as the bridge between insight and execution, you’ll ensure data sits at the heart of decision‑making across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Define and deliver long-term category strategies aligned to commercial objectivesDrive performance through recommendations across range, pricing, promotion, and channel strategyPartner with Commercial and Marketing teams to shape Joint Business PlansLead category input into key customer engagements and strategic tendersTranslate complex data from multiple sources into clear, compelling narrativesDeliver actionable insights that influence senior stakeholdersMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and channel dynamics across Retail and OOHEmbed best‑in‑class approaches to insight generation and utilisationOwn and govern the innovation pipeline and stage‑gate processesIdentify new growth opportunities across products, formats, and channelsOptimise portfolio strategy across branded and private‑label offeringsDefine and track key performance metrics across category and portfolioProvide ongoing analysis and recommendations to accelerate growthPlay a key role in expanding and optimising performance across multiple channelsWhat We’re Looking For:Proven track record of delivering category or commercial strategies that drive measurable growthStrong experience across Retail and B2B / Out-of-Home channelsDeep understanding of category management, commercial levers, and profitability driversAdvanced experience using syndicated data and translating insights into actionExceptional stakeholder management and influencing skillsHighly strategic mindset with the ability to execute and deliver impactStrong communication and storytelling capabilityFor more information, please contact Alice Redmond.
