Location: Cunard Building, Liverpool (Hybrid Working), L2 2BS £700 p/d inside ir35 umbrella 3 months initial contract Reports To: Director of Property Direct Reports: General Practice Surveyors, Asset Valuation Surveyors, Building Surveyors, Unqualified Surveyors, Senior Land Surveyor, Senior Data Officer and Senior Programme Delivery Officer.
Job Purpose The Head of Commercial Property provides strategic leadership and professional advice on the management of the Council's commercial property portfolio. The role ensures that Council-owned land and buildings are effectively managed to maximise income, generate capital receipts, support regeneration and deliver wider social and economic benefits for the city.
Key Responsibilities ·Provide strategic leadership for the Council's commercial property and asset management services. ·Manage and optimise the Council's commercial property portfolio to maximise income and value while minimising liabilities. ·Lead negotiations on commercial property matters including lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, acquisitions and disposals. ·Oversee property valuations and ensure accurate asset information is maintained. ·Develop and implement asset management strategies and support the Council's Strategic Asset Review programme. ·Provide professional property ...
