Head of Compliance - SMF16

A small international bank is looking for an experienced Head of Compliance (SMF16). Your responsibilities will include:

* Define/implement/maintain effective compliance and regulatory reporting

* Conduct policies/procedures/monitoring controls/governance to ensure compliance with all UK regulatory requirements

* Conduct risk and control assessments

* Maintenance of London’s compliance risk appetite

* Provide guidance and training on compliance and new regulatory developments

* Serve as the point of contact for UK regulatory authorities

* Collaborate and report with Head Office on compliance issues

* Support auditors, both internal and external

Your experience must include:

* Extensive proven compliance experience as Head of Compliance in banking at SMF16 level

* Strong knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks

* Excellent communication skills – both written and oral

This role will be hybrid – working 4 days a week in the office and 1 day remotely
