Head of Content £50,000–£60,000 + Package | Hybrid Working | East Yorkshire A growing UK manufacturing business with a strong consumer presence is investing in its next phase of brand and marketing growth. As part of this, we’re looking to appoint a Head of Content to take ownership of content strategy, planning and delivery across all channels with a strong digital-first focus. This is not a passive oversight role. It’s a hands‑on leadership position for someone who enjoys building structure, shaping campaigns and delivering high‑quality, commercially aligned content. The Opportunity The business operates across B2C and B2B2C channels, selling direct through ecommerce as well as through retail partners. With continued UK growth and expanding export markets, the brand needs a clear, cohesive and strategically led content approach to support product launches, seasonal campaigns and long‑term brand positioning. You’ll take ownership of: The annual content and campaign calendar Digital‑first content across social, ecommerce, email and web Brand storytelling and tone of voice Campaign planning and launch execution Cross‑channel integration with retail and partner activity This is a role where you’ll be trusted to shape direction but equally expected to roll your sleeves up and deliver. What You’ll Be Doing Planning and organising integrated content campaigns across digital and retail Leading content across social channels (organic and paid alignment) Supporting ecommerce growth with engaging, conversion‑focused messaging Partnering with Product and Sales teams to bring launches to market Overseeing creative briefs and asset development Writing, editing and refining content where required Ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints What We’re Looking For 5+ years in content, brand or integrated marketing roles Experience in B2C or B2B2C environments Strong campaign planning and content calendar ownership Commercial awareness — understanding how content drives growth Digital confidence across social, ecommerce and email Comfortable balancing strategy with hands‑on execution A natural collaborator who can work cross‑functionally Industry experience is less important than transferable skills and a modern, commercially minded approach.
