This is a rare chance to lead a high-impact data science function within a rapidly scaling biotech. Youll be at the interface of internal R&D and external customer collaborations, helping shape the utility and evolution of novel omics technology. Youll build and mentor a team, drive scientific discovery, and directly influence product innovation.
Lead, build, and mentor a growing team of data scientists
Collaborate with external partners to support scientific publications and joint projects
Guide internal product development with experimental insights and analysis
Youll be an experienced computational biologist or bioinformatician, ready to step into a leadership role with a strong technical foundation. PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field with strong data analysis expertise
Deep understanding of genomic data science methods (variant calling, GWAS, QTL mapping, etc.)
Skilled in at least one scientific programming language (Python, R, or Julia)
Strong collaborator with a track record of academic or industrial partnerships
Bonus: experience with ML in genomics, cloud deployment, workflow platforms (Nextflow, DNAnexus), or publication as a lead author
