Head of Delivery | Infrastructure & Sustainability | London (Hybrid)

We're a fast-growing, mission-driven business operating at the intersection of technology infrastructure and decarbonisation. Backed by a major energy investor, we're scaling rapidly across the UK and beyond - and we need a Head of Delivery to help us get there.

The Role

This is a hands-on senior leadership position overseeing the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of complex commercial construction projects. You'll build and lead the delivery function from the ground up, working closely with internal teams, external contractors, consultants, and strategic partners.

You'll be responsible for governance, controls, risk management, procurement, and contract administration across multiple live projects - all while helping shape how delivery works at a business going through a major growth phase.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading project delivery across a portfolio of technically complex infrastructure sites
• Building and managing internal and external delivery teams
• Overseeing procurement processes, RFPs, bid evaluations and contract negotiations
• Administering contracts (NEC, JCT) and managing compliance and risk
• Monitoring budgets, timelines, milestones and reporting to senior stakeholders
• Managing design teams, cost consultants, engineers and specialists from feasibility through to construction
• Overseeing quality control, H&S compliance, commissioning and handover

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or related field
• Proven track record in senior delivery or project management, ideally client-side or consultancy
• Strong experience in commercial construction and contract administration (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
• Background in technically complex infrastructure sectors - data centres, energy, renewables, utilities, telecoms or similar
• Confident managing multiple stakeholders, contractors and workstreams simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera or Procore
• Professional certifications (PMP, MRICS, MCIOB) are a plus
