The Role Head of Design & Technology

Lead and strategically develop the DT curriculum across KS3KS5
Manage and mentor a dedicated DT team, driving high-quality teaching
Deliver engaging lessons across DT specialisms (flexibility depending on strengths)
Raise attainment and embed a culture of creativity and excellence
Oversee departmental resources, health & safety, and enrichment provision

The Ideal Head of Design & Technology

UK QTS and a degree in Design & Technology or related subject (2:1 or above)
Strong track record of teaching with proven student outcomes
Experience in a leadership capacity, or clear readiness to step up
